First Time Gaming Build

Hi All! I was looking for some input on building a new gaming PC this coming fall. I've been doing some research trying to creating a compatible setup that would last me well into the next 5+ years. I'm an avid gamer so I was looking for a system that would play games such as CS:GO and The Witcher 3, but also edit higher quality photos as well as minor video editing. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as to whether or not I'm overdoing it with the build.

Looks great. I would probably get a 250GB ssd and a 1TB hard drive instead of a single 500GB ssd that's more money. Other than that, I would get a better cpu cooler. I really like the CRYORIG H7 and H5.

Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering if 500GB was too much for running the OS and other apps I would be installing. I will also do more research on a CPU cooler. I was trying to focus on a smaller fan but I didn't want to overheat my CPU with my plan on over clocking.

Another issue I'm concerned about is whether or not I need to purchase additional cooling fans for the case to ensure the temperature inside is regulated.

Eww $65 is a terrible price for a H7. The H5 is better for about $45. The H7 is supposed to be about $30.

I want to say that's the latest pricing on PCPartPicker. I'll keep on eye on the market to buy it around the $30 price range. Most of the parts I'm going to check daily and hopefully save an additional 10%-15% on overall costs. If anything drastically changes from now until this fall I'll update my build.

Seems like the H5 has gone up in price a little too, but it's flat out better than the H7

Hmm apparently partpicker is just not showing the CRYORIG prices correctly because the H7 is still $34 over at newegg
