First Time Gaming PC Build Help

Hi, this will be my first time building a PC and I was wondering if the parts I have picked out would work well for me and whether I should replace any of them. I will be using the PC for heavy gaming and my budget can't go much higher than $1000 (excluding monitor), any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Ive heard that asrock boards arent the best; check these out ASUS Z87 PLUS
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming. Also you will need a cpu cooler if you plan on overclocking; If you do not plan on overclocking, you can save $20 and get the non overclocking i5 and a cheaper board that doesnt oc(as you would not need it to). Your psu is a bit on the lower side of wattage, especially if you plan on ocing. I would suggest 600w + to be "in the green".

ASUS has great VRMs and generally great build quality with motherboards

I recommend you upgrade that hard drive. Get a 7200 1tb from Seagate or Western Digital.

Also the psu is a bit weak. And if you're on a budget, I highly recommend AMD FX. They generally have higher clock speed and more cores for the same or lower price.

I don't know much about crucial ram, but I know kingston is really good. I recommend 2x4gb (8gb) of Kingston black ram. It'll save you 10 dollars as well.

If you have room in your budget for an awesome looking case and don't mind spending $100, I'd say get the NZXT Phantom 410.

The processor is basically an overclock of fx8350. The ram is 1333mhz I'd recommend 1600mhz at least. You should research to make sure the h100i will fit the case. Lastly, I'd recommend an hdd with 7200rpm. They're not incredibly expensive.

ditch the 9370, get an 8350 instead and sink the savings into other parts
