My goal is to building a gaming PC and purchase all necessary peripherals for $1800 or less. This is what I have selected so far. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3tqsE Can I improve anything to lower the cost or get better components at the same price? Either parts or peripherals. I didn't pick out an after market cooler because I don't intend to do any overclocking at this time. I might 9-12 months down the road. Will the standard CPU cooler work fine? Does this build give me room for upgrading over the next several years? Thanks for reading.

the build looks genuinely alright....but it so happens that i also put together a pc that is very similar to yours for £1400 not too long ago...theres the specs, if u want u can have a look at these, might help u out :) I did ALOT of research so i think the builds really valid, also you might wanna throw in a tiny bit more money and probably get an Asus Z87-Plus for a mobo

CPU Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core £155.99
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing £25.45
Motherboard Asus Z87-Plus ATX LGA1150 £112.90
Memory Kingston Fury White Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 £54.96
Storage Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" SSD £59.94
Western Digital AV-GP 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM £64.96
Video Card Asus Radeon R9 290 4GB...

Even if I only plan on putting the OS on it? My plan is to eventually upgrade to a 500gb SSD once prices come down in a year or two.
