My GPU comes tomorrow and I've never installed one before. I know that when you install the GPU there's a little click to be heard and the little clip should snap into place once the GPU has settled but I'm wondering if I have to pull the clip back, and then seat the GPU (like I did with the RAM) or if I should just install the GPU itself without worrying about the little clip at the end of the PCIe slot.

Solution
Yes you need to pull the clip back, insert the gpu then it will click in place like ram does. Then use the screw to secure the IO port of the gpu with the case.
