So i just wanted to know if i should reseat my heatsink or not.
i've got an I7 4770k here OC'ed to 4.3MHz at 1.250V.
And as you can see here Under full load i got into the 80s

Getting some high temps on cores #0 and #1

Edit: Forgot to mention the heatsink is the cooler master Hyper 212 evo

The hyper 212 evo isn't the best aftermarket cooler there is, its primary role is to provide bang for buck cooling for demanding processors. You really want to be a dedicated clocker, then buy liquid cooling. If not, then cut down on the overclock.

Yeah i had both of those programs running with prime95 only went for 3mins tho cause CoreTemp started showing yellow numbers on 81c so i got a little scared and stopped prime95

Man, is there a problem? You got a relatively cheap cooler, you overclock your CPU to the limit... and you still are 16°C below Tjunction...

And that was while you were stressing your processor in prime95 or else or during gameplay/actual usage?

I am using Prime95, the 84c temps are at 100% load. i've never oced before i just don't want to burn my cpu out i've heard 90c is very very bad and thats mainly why im making this. dunno if i should reseat my heatsink cause cores #0 #1 #2 are pretty hot while core #3 is sitting at 74c under full load. i also didin't tinker around with the voltage too much i just set it at 1.250V so i don't know if i should lower that till my system can't turn on or what.

Sorry should have read previous posts before. I think you are fine for gaming as that will never tax all cores 100%.
that is if room temperature is not going to jump up 10°C or more after the tests... or I would reduce clocking and voltage a slight notch.

I cannot believe that difference between cores to be due to bad seating of your cooler. It is more probably difference between thermal sensors I guess...

I just lowered my Voltage from 1.250V to 1.200V i still have the 4.3MHZ OC on the cpu with temps steady at 78C! 😀 running prime95 now,

But now the question is, do i start lowering the Voltage some more for that sweet spot or stay the way it is?

This is while its under full load with Prime95 "Small FFTs (Maximum FPU stress, data fits in l2 cache,RAM not tested much)

80's is high but safe. You're not really in the danger zone until you hit 90's on full load. If you need the overclock, keep it.

Edit: oh wait nevermind, you said it got to the 80's after 3 minutes. Well, try it for a little longer. Intel can technically handle up to 100 C, but you don't ever wanna get that hot. Try prime95 for like 10 minutes then tell us your temps.
