I dont know much about how to overclock but here are my specs

CPU: i7 4770k 3.5ghz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master T4
GPU: 2-way sli GTX 770
motherboard: asrock 787 extreme 4
psu: corsair tx 850w
ram: 16gb corsair

what things do i select in the bios? i want around 4.4ghz?
theres an option in my bios thats like preset overclocking (turbo 4.0ghz-4.6ghz)
but when i click 4.4ghz i get blue screen after a minute of loading windows

yeah... um... well overclocking isn't a "guaranteed"... it's sorta like a lottery, every chip is different.

you take it in small steps. go to the cpu multiplier, and bump it up +1, see if it will load into windows, keep bumping it by +1 till it won't load anymore. then it's time to start to raise your vcore. bump it by small increments. with haswell you don't want to go over 1.3V, 1.25 is probably the most you'll want, but definitely you won't want to go over 1.3V.

keep bumping by small incriments and loading into windows till it's stable. if you can't stabilize it, you'll have to back the overclock down -1 on the multiplier, and see if that works.

Then we stress it with something like prime95, see if it overheats or not (get hardware monitor or coretemp, and keep an eye on your cpu temps)... if your computer can run prime95 for 12hours or so without a crash and with the cpu temps not breaking 80C you're good to go with your overclock.
