I'm helping a friend build a couple of identical computers, this isn't my first time and one of the computers is working and has been for about a month. I'm having an issue with the other one and can't get it to even show a signal on the monitor. I've gone through the first time boot checklist several times, I've replaced the motherboard, PSU, Ram, and swapped in two different graphics card that work fine on other computers. I have the speaker plugged into the motherboard and don't get any beep at all. Am i looking at two defective motherboard in a row? What are the chances of a defective CPU? The motherboard doesn't have an integrated graphics chip so i have to use a graphics card. All the fans power and I've tried 3 different monitors.
I dont have the complete system specs but i know everything is compatible because i have an identical computer working fine.
CPU AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz (4.1 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W FD6300WMHKBOX Desktop Processor
Motherboard Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
Other than these two components i don't know what else could be causing the issue. I've also tried a test boot outside of the case with the same results.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
