This is my first time building a pc from parts at a hardware store.
I have replaced parts, exchanged ram and those sorts before but I would like to build a pc.
If anyone is willing to take the time to give me a list of cheap but good parts for a pc and maybe a few tips I will thank them gratly. My budget is about $400 CAD. Unless someone can tell me how to use a laptops parts in a desktop pc if so, I have ram and a processor I would just need the rest of the pc. Btw, if anyone knows of an hd monitor attachable to a pc case that is less that 1 inch wide, please post the name and brand.

This is about as close as I could get to your price limit. Without considering a monitor, OS, stuff like that. I could go lower, but that would mean an APU and no graphics card. Is there anything else that should be added?

Are you able to guarantee the parts being able to work together with minimal/no crashing due to hardware??

All of those parts will work together without crashing and/or breaking something. You probably will have issues, but on a software level. Drivers have always been hard to work with.
