Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week (the closer the better)

*NOTE: I am in Kolkata, India and prices talked about will be in INR. I request all those replying to advice and help to refer to mdcomputer.in for price and availability. The store is in my city and I will have the machine purchased from and assembled there probably.

Budget Range: ~85K INR.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: AAA gaming like the new DOOM, Dark Souls 3, The Witcher 3 at 1080p and ~60FPS. Don't want to go for 1440p or 4K.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes. Does this still apply?: https://www.howtogeek.com/244678/you-dont-need-a-product-key-to-install-and-use-windows-10/

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: mdcomputers.in

Location: Kolkata, India. The parts will be purchased and assembled at MD Computers, there are not many deals in the retail market here.

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU, leaning more towards nVidia GPU but I am just taking a stab here. If you find Ryzen/RX advisable I can consider them

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 probably.

I already have a rough build down: http://imgur.com/10FlR0c current total is 72K

Now, I have some MAJOR doubts and I will be very grateful if anyone could address some of them.

1.) Right now I have decided on GTX 1060 6GB but I can't decide which AIB to go for. I was thinking of MSI, but I saw a few cases of really poor customer service reported online. Of course, ideally I wouldn't have to bother with customer service for a few years atleast but I don't know how far or close to reality that scenario is 😛 So can anyone tell me which brands are the most reliable, if there is any marked distinction to begin with, in terms of product longetivity and after sale service? Or is there anyone which people here feel is distinctly NOT reliable? Much thanks for reading this, all help with be appreciated.

2.)MOTHERBOARDS! Good god for the life of me I cannot make sense of all the mobo parameters. My first approach was to go for the cheapest one that supports intel 7th gen, gtx 1060 and HDMI. But then I read online that "buses" are the most bottlenecking element of any build, I assumed that "bus" would be part of the mobo but looking at their specifications, there is no explicit mention of bus. Sorry if this sounds really stupid, but I am grasping in the dark here. They do mention PCIe lanes and I wonder if thats the same thing? I threw a mobo in the above build as a place holder and its not something I have decided on; right now I am thinking of either B250 or H270 if the latter ensures a boost in performance or the former can cause some bottleneck(I am pretty much set on getting 8GB X 2 DDR4-2400MHz RAM). There are so many variants for each, B250 and H270 from so many manufacturers, I can't wrap my head around this. Would it be smart to get the mobo from the same manufacturer as the graphic card?

3.) Cases- Seems a simple enough choice but I read case design can be crucial as it may end up not being able to fit all the components or a better design will help with temperatures and proper wiring? Right now I am looking at Cooler Master K380/Master Box 5 or Corsair SPEC-3/200R.

4.)PSU- This one is simple. How much power do I need? PCpartpicker and other calculators online are telling me ~300W I read the official recommendation for gtx 1060 was 400W but I read a few amazon comments that said gtx 1060 needed 500W minimum?

This is pretty much it. Much thanks for taking time to read all this. I am really looking forward to your advice. All help will be appreciated.

the ryzen build is far superior to a non overclockable 7500 build.

this is a saved list i had in pcpp. some parts r from amazon n others r from newegg import. that 10k headroom should help u to source the parts from mdcomputers.

i think mdcomp has the s12520/620 psu. get that. the gpu is fantastic as the monitor is a ips 60hz freesync one.

get a corsair vengence 3000 mz ram. as of now, it will run @ 2133. but future bios revisions should get u to 3000.

get an asus rx480 dual. asus has good presence n service in india.

get a MSI tomahawk or gigabyte gaming 3 if fatality is costly here.

get a ssd later.

Except for DOOM, the games you play were GeForce bundles. Clearly "the way it is meant to be played". 😉
PCPartPicker only has Amazon India available as manufacturer, so try and find the exact parts on mdcomputers. If those aren't available there, most motherboard are good enough anyways.

it's about 10-15k over budget when you add in the monitor and that is without O/S from mdcomputers

edit: buying from one shop in india is a lot more expensive but i guess it's like that everywhere but not to the same extremes.

this isn't meant in a bad way because i would choose the parts usually like yourself .. from the cheapest place.. but i think the OP is not confident in building this himself and that is why he stated "The parts will be purchased and assembled at MD Computers, there are not many deals in the retail market here" so i think for the OP it would better if you used the MD computers website and picked him the best for his budget. would benefit him more than the part you suggesting not being available and him/her having to choose their own replacement !

in short : he's looking for your expertise.

please don't take offence at this :)

I'm not expecting him to build himself so in the previous reply I said to find the parts on mdcomputers.in and see if he can find the exact one.

Thanks a ton, guys! All three of you. And thanks for picking it out on mdcomputers.in for me and yeah am I not confident at all in making this myself, haha.

Just two quick questions in regards to okcnaline's final build. Can I skip the SSD to get a Cooler Master Hyper 212X cooler and 16GB RAM? And is there some specific/crucial advantage to that mobo or could I go for am ASUS B250 one(it will only save ~2K)?
