Hi Everyone,

I watched a couple vids, did some research and ended up with this build.I was also wondering if i should go ryzen instead not sure.

I am thinking of buying these parts during cyber monday or black friday.

$1700 is my limit at the moment.

Would love to know thoughts/opinions on what can be done better.

This coffee lake I5 is much better:

Solution

yeah i will be doing video editing, thought 7700k would be good enough.

Thanks for helping me avoid that disaster 😀

Might go for the ryzen build.

Does the ryzen build not need a cpu cooler?

Ryzen comes with a decent stock cooler and suffice for decent overclocking :) My 1600 is @ 3.8 with stock cooler.
