I am creating a PC Build for both work and gaming. The extent of the work is heavy graphics work via Adobe programs and minor 3D modeling and rendering work Via Blender. Could I get some feedback, my cap for this build is $1k.

You don't want a Corsair CX for this rig, the sound card is a waste of money, and the GTX 660 is now very outdated.

I've heard that the i7 does a better job working with rendering in Premiere Pro and After Effects, is the price difference worth it or is it better to stick to the i5 instead?
