Have a budget of about €1000 or $1250. Want it to be good enough for some gaming here and there. Any tips on what to go for? I7 would be nice :) thanks!

Wait until the end of the month and get the RX 480 coming out for $200 with close to Fury level performance. That means you will be able to play any game whatsoever amxed out or close to maxed out on that monitor.
