Hello there!

I am currently trying to build my own gaming pc for the very first time. I do not know a whole lot about what components are good and whether or not they will match nicely together. If you can take a look at my spec and add any adjustsment, I would really appreciate it :)

I am mainly going to be playing casual games like: WoW, LoL, CCS stuff like that.

Solution

change the i5 5690 to a i5 4670, cheaper mobo, like the msi z97 pc mate and less gb ssd?
Everything looks fine, though a cpu cooler isn't needed, especially one of that calibre that you selected as you won't be overclocking, so the stock one that comes with your cpu will be fine, and have you considered amd gpus? They might give you better performance than a nvidia one at that price

Okay so an extra cpu cooler is, for the most, only needed if I overclock?
I am not really into the amd gpus. They might be fine, but I don't know anything about them - which are good ones or bad ones. Which one would you recommend?

Will the 550 watt 80+ gold power supply be good enough for the above mentioned games, or how does that work?
And is my selected case easy to work with? I couldn't fine any good answers on google

yes the psu will be fine and maybe a r9 280 or r9 270 , and your cpu can't overclock, you know that right

Yes, I know that. I am not interesting in investing in overclocking since I.. don't know how it works.
Thank you very much. Just one last thing: Is there anything I could cut down on and perhaps save a little money? :)

I am very much against Windows 8. I really do not like it.
Is the better performance notable?

No, not in the games you listed
