Below is my PC parts:

Here is the problem description:
  1. PC Assm:

  2. dark rock pro 4 install:
    View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pLbEQ3T-iU

I followed the above two video word for word on how to install my PC. The parts were picked according to the first video.
My symptoms are after pressing power button on PC case:
IO ports are not working at all, monitor says displayport has no signal, mouse and keyboard are not working no power seems to be coming out of the IO ports of the motherboard.
All fans are working (PSU fans, case fans, and dark rock pro 4 is working and seems to be spinning up to max (quite loud))
Graphics card is working fine, fans are on and spinning as far as I can see, but when plugging monitor into it's displayport, also says no signal. I then tried to plug the displayport cable into the GPU, but still no signal.

Is there any chance the PC assembly video is not complete? Are there more cables to plug in? There are more cables left I didn't use. I triple checked the video and I did everything he did in the video.

I took a video of my PC after finishing assembly

While trying to plug in the CPU power into the motherboard, I did scratch the back of the motherboard (No visible scratches.), could this possibly cause the motherboard to malfunction for some of it's functions?

I'd suggest taking a picture of the scratch on the back of the MOBO. I scratched my prior build up fine...I'd suggest double-checking the wiring. Do you have the 24 motherboard pin connected onto the motherboard correctly and the power supply side?

Have you connected the wiring case into the appropriate places on the motherboard?

Hello,

I connected everything acccording to the build video, i tripled checked everything, and according to the video its all in place. I will take out the MOBO and rebuild the whole thing this weekend, as well as take a picture of the back of the MOBO. Assuming everything is assembled correctly, based on the symptoms in my first post, is there a chance the PSU or MOBO is dead? Or something else entirely?

The PSU fan, case fan, GPU fan, CPU cooling fan are all working and spinning. Does this indicate the MOBO is working properly and PSU is okay as well? So then it could be a CPU dead or perhaps CPU power issue? I'm so confused, sorry for the questions, this is my first time building a PC and I'm completely in the dark.

Hold on, look at your motherboard manual first and find the diagnostic LED information. See which light is lit up for diagnostics.

Will do. I'll do that this weekend and report back. By the way, if the MOBO is not dead, i should be hearing beeping sounds on power up? Or is this only when CPU and RAM are also properly working?

Hello,

I removed the motherboard and took a detailed look at the back of it with a flashlight. There are no visible scratches.

I reassembled my PC earlier this afternoon, and have noticed that none of the motherboard LED lighting comes on at all. They're all dark. So The PC's symptoms are as below:

  1. All fans are working (case fans, PSU fan, graphics card fans, CPU cooler fan)
  2. USB ports are not outputting power to mouse or keyboard
  3. Motherboard LED lights are all completely dark.
  4. Displayport no signal, and computer does not look like it is booting up at all.
I've ensured every power and data cables are all connected properly. Since even the motherboard LED lights are out, could this only mean that the motherboard is defective?
