First time PC builder

Hi Eveyone,

I'm looking to buid my own PC for the first time. I've done just about as much research as I can do, and selected the components I think would be best for my budget. I would like see if someone would mind taking the time to double check me for compatibility, and let me know if I'm making any errors.

The computer is going to be primarily for gaming and watching hi-def movies, with a 60" LED as a monitor.

Dude... people are nice and are willing to help out, but not to the point of plugging in stock numbers into TigerDirect to get the items. List out the item names, not the parts numbers.

you have great build

but if you want to save more, i can tell that 32GB ram is too much. even 16 GB cant be utilized fully except for heavy virtual machine.

and stay away from intel MOBO. they have less support compared to popular brand like asrock, asus, and gigabyte

and for corsair h60. i bet you already knew that it was noisy.... i owned it once, and just for 1 week i swapped my h60 with 212 evo for better performance and less noise

just my 0.02 someone can correct me for a better setup

2 x 8Gb the absolute choice. less power, more rooms for upgrade, and cheaper. current RAM tech is only limited to dual channel, nothing is 4 channel 😉

Thank you again for your help. I've changed the MOBO to Gigabyte, the fan to the EVO 212, and down to 16G of RAM.

I'll be sure to get back to y'all and let you know how it goes!!
