Ok so I replaced a PSU in a friends computer last week and since it was my first time I'm starting to overthink what I did lol. It's an old pavilion a000 model and only had a 250w PSU and had some things added over the years so I put in a 400w lepa model. Anyway, it seems like it runs great. Nice and quiet and doesn't feel hot. I'm wondering about the cables inside though. It's a very crammed case and the PSU had extra cables I didn't need. I tied them together and tried placing them out of the way. Is there any danger of an unplugged cable from the power supply touching another component (besides a fan obviously) and maybe melting the coating? I'm just paranoid about that stuff lol. Also all other parts are the stock parts. Thanks.
