Problem
Doing my first system upgrade in years, bought a new mother board (Strix B 350-F), CPU (Ryzen 1600) and RAM (Corsair 16g x2). I can't get motherboard to post. A steady orange light turns on as well as the RGB Strix aura when I connect the power, but when I hit the button the fans stay silent and nothing else happens. I'm at my wits end, please help!

Things attempted
I've been struggling for close to a week now. I followed the no post and breadboarding guides step by step (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FB3qcc) googled all over checked every connection twice.

Tried just about every combination of connected parts, all of them were a no go. That includes RAM to slot 2, monitor connected to GFX card, case AND external speakers connected, etc. My PSU is brand new and works just find with my old MoBo build.

I'm currently in a full state of panic
Should I request a refund on the MoBo or is there anything else I should try? Could my processor be the problem? Any and all help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

It's possible front panel connectors are not connected correctly.
In those photos I can see power and power led connectors - those seem to be connected correctly.
But reset switch and hdd led might be connected wrong. Can't really see that in the photo. Double-check that.

And speaker is also not connected. Connect it and it might give you beeps indicating the problem.

Hi there!
I tried different positions on the HDD and Reset following the manual the MoBo manual. I'll try reconnecting everything anyway and give it another go, hopefully the fourth times the charm.

I had the HD Audio in and the back speaker connected, no beeps 🙁

For motherboard beeps, you need this thing, not speakers
