Hi, so im kind of new here, most of what i do is learning through videos/magazines and i thought since im buying a new processor/mobo combo and i wanted to learn overclocking, that i would try my hand at watercooling to get the most efficient results as possible. I just bought all the parts and i want to make sure i didnt miss anything that i would need, and if my plan sounds good at all.

So heres what i have coming:
Pump/Reservoir Combo (Dual Bay)
240 mm radiator (x2)
GPU and CPU Blocks
g1/4 Compression fittings for 1/2-3/8tubing (x10)
20ft of 1/2-3/8 vinyl tubing

I also got an adapter and some drain plugs for easy draining/flushing in the future, and can set a bleed port on the top if i need it, but in my plan, the reservoir would be the highest piece so i dont know if a bleed port is necessary if i can just do it through the reservoir cap.

As for my plan, i was going to have the Reservoir/pump combo mounted in the top 2 drive bays, leading into 1 240mm radiator mounted on the inside front of the case, which would then go to my GPU block, then to my 240mm radiator on the inside top of the case, then to my CPU, then back to my reservoir pump. I think i have all the parts necessary, but i kind of wanted someone elses opinion. Ill get into learning how to overclock later, but right now i want to make sure my cooling system is as effective as it can be. Sorry for the terrible format, im not used to asking for help.

I didnt really purchase a kit, but i purchased most of the parts through SwifTech, with the Radiators being from Alphacool (2x 240mm ST30). I can provide the exact parts if people feel like that would help

Another good source of parts is http://www.frozencpu.com/. They have a complete inventory of water cooling products and kits.

From the list, you seem to have the components needed. Are you routing the flow to the pump > waterblock > radiator > reservoir > back to pump?

We still have Performance-PCs as an online US source!

If FrozenCPU does ever reopen it's doors under new management, then the first thing they should do is honor filling the orders that were never received like mine! :pfff:
Even after they took my money!
They should be sued!
But I guarantee you it would be, "Take a Number, and Get in Line!" :pfff:

I typically get all my gear from PPC's also. Their site and stock levels have really bumped up over the last couple years. While I've spent a ton of money at FrozenCPU, I don't know they would get another cent until there is a lot of validation and confirmation. Still...while FCPU always had a huge selection, they were also a bit higher priced.

I'd also not recommend most of the products on that page as any form of base for a watercooling loop. There is a broad mix of decent gear and poor gear on that page.

I haven't ordered from them in a while. But I did get the items I ordered. Is this something that happened just recently?

This site is great.

You can use one of these kits as a template for your parts list.

That was one of the things I liked was their selection.

Do you have a better source for this type of products in the US? I get most of my stuff through Newegg or Amazon, but some of the more specialized items aren't covered by either.
