Hey everyone, I'm building my first computer and looking for input and advice from those who know what they are talking about :)

Firstly I will be using it for university (Archicad, Autocad, 3D design) as well as gaming.

My budget is in the region of 2000 - 2300. Although my first time I want to get something which is in a way a challenge - I'm addicted to technology and improving so will be looking to overclock and water-cooling.

What do you guys think so far? Any recommendations?

I've been going back and forth on this for a while now. Trying to find someone who has one to get their opinion and see how bad it would be. The lure of watching movies and the wow factor are appealing but I'm not willing to sacrifice much efficiency for pleasure.
