First timer(PLEASE READ & COMMENT) need your advice

this is my first build and i have a few questions.

1)should i buy a factory oc card or standard and oc myself? would factory oc cards have better parts

2)570 or 580 or 560ti sli (i want to play fallout nv and fallout 4 when it comes out maxed out on my sony 55nx810

3)Galaxy 57NKH3HS4GXK GeForce GTX 570 is 270 after rebate on new-egg but i really like the GIGABYTE Super Overclock Series 570 and 580

4)today is 9/1/11 will prices drop around labor day / black friday / christmas? should i wait?

hdd- HITACHI Deskstar 7K3000 HDS723020BLA642 (0f12115) 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

ssd- OCZ Vertex 3 VTX3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive

Power- CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

Motherboard- ASRock Z68 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

CPU cooler- NZXT HAVIK-140 CPU Cooler w. Dual 140mm Fans

CPU- i5 2500k

anything else i need or should have instead ?

I think you should wait. Not only will it be black friday soon but AMD is supposely releasing their 7xxx series [nVIDIA will release Keplar in 2012]. If you want nVIDIA still, I would personally go with the gtx 570 and consider adding another one down the line. It will give you performance to last.

^+1 If you're prepared to wait then you should, not for prices to drop on this generation, but to get 40% more for your money on the next generation.

nVIDIA seems to have the most support with games/sli plus PhysX

so the stuff i picked out good?
should i wait and buy the same stuff
whats coming out other than new GPUs that i should know about

The other components look good, but I wouldn't just freeze a shopping list and then pull the trigger in a couple months. We're up against new CPU releases from both AMD and Intel, new SSDs are out all the time, and there might be better values all the way around in however many months.
