hi !
I have a question.

xigmatek asgard 2 pc case ...I'm not sure if I need some type of rack or something to be able to install an [strike]hdd[/strike] HDD.

Hey there, steli01.

I'm not really familiar with that case, but in most situation the only thing you need are the mounting screws if you have the necessary drive bay (e.g. 2.5" or 3.5").
I'd recommend that you refer to the case's User Manual for more information. You should be able to find the how-to guide on mounting drives inside the case.

Hope that helps.

It's always best to try to google what you are looking for before asking simple questions. Here's your case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811815004, it looks like you should just be able to put a couple screws in the drives and call it good.

3.5" drives do not require any screws (unless you want to install them in 5.25" drive bay).

Unfortunately there are no specialized space for 2.5" drives.
So if you want to install some of those, you'll need 2.5->3.5 drive adapter.
