fix for 960 nvidia card

my 960 would crash for the last 5 months .....it would piss me off, but a guy at walmart told me to underclock the card by 10 % ...i did not want to buy a new card and now it never crashes

Do you have a suitably strong psu?

Depending on the manufacturer, the GTX960 should have a warranty of 3 years.
RMA time, I think.
