I have Alphacool 16mm OD 13mm ID acrylic tubing, and a Alphacool 13mm silicon insert.

When I am bending tubes there is about a 1mm to 2mm gap between the insert and tubing, and it is messing up all of my bends. Is there a way to fill in the unfilled gap of air? Or did I just get a messed up insert?

Solution
If there is 1 - 2mm gap either your insert or the tube is messed up. Have you tryed other tubes just to check?

No good solution when the insert is to small besides than getting a new one.

You can try to add more heat and be super carefull and slow while you bend, and dont bend so sharp.

Yes, they all have about 1-2mm maybe even 4mm, idk. The gap looks thicker than the tube wall, lol

holy... Not to step on anyone`s toes in here but this is YET an example why I stay far, far, far away from Alphacool products...

First messure the diameter of the silicone insert just to make sure its correct, and that you have not gotten one that is 10mm or something, then messure the ID on the tubes to see if they are idd 13mm and not like 15mm

If your silicone is correct but tubes and not, just return the tubes for new ones or refund.

I brought a pack of 4 tubes, and I already used 1.5 tubes, so no return for me :(

I'm just going to buy 90 degree and 45 degree fittings for the components only, so I wont have to do that many 90 degree bends.
