Fix free spinning mobo standoffs?

Any suggestions on fixing stripped out holes on your mobo tray, it's a cooler master haf xb evo which cm sells a replacement tray but is out of stock, and my new mobo arrives tomorrow so I'd like to figure a way to fix it now, jb weld "steel epoxy putty" = fail..

Screw in the standoff as well as you can, then when installing your motherboard hold the standoff still with a pair of needle nose pliers as you screw down the screw. That's not really going to fix the stripped holes, but it will at least let you install your motherboard.

Thanks I think I got it, the putty worked when I put it on from the top pretty much gluing them in place but some I could only get at from below and those didn't take hold, I've got the tray out now so I can get at them now, it's ugly but it'll due 4 now
