so please post some more specs like type of mobo and CPU

With out anymore info, we cant give a correct response.

You say electricity is on but is the computer even trying to turn on?

Does any fans start up?

Do you hear a beep after you press the power button (thats if you ever heard a beep from the computer)?

Was there any hardware changes made recently like new graphics card or cpu?


With the current info, i could easily guess 4 things (and there many more things thats could be wrong).

1. graphic chip is dead

2. motherboard is fried

3. Power Supply Unit (PSU) is dead.

4. You made a hardware change. Maybe a cpu not compatible with the motherboard or a graphic card thats to much for your psu.


Well need more info to pinpoint the exact problem.
