fixed my motherboard used a hammer

lost pcie slot an ram count, on my old gateway 825gm desktop , found out north bridge was problem. used hammer handle on it pushed down on it did restart system work`s fine for now. but i found a new motherboard on ebay . i want reman this cp . i fond so many new parst`s for this old cp where do i start?
