My pc is fairly old, we don't have lots of money to buy a new one so I rock with it. Recently I saw that my pc out of 4gb of ram uses 2.7gb and 1.3gb is for hardware. I thought it was a faulty ram stick so I got 2 new ones, that comes up to 8gb but now it's still limited to 2.7gb and reserved 5.3gb for hardware. I tried to enable stuff in bios but nothing seem to have worked, it recognised it has 8gb of ram running dual channel but its still the same problem. I also did a CMOS reset and disabling maximum memory on ms config and its still the same
