So today i got my new computer from ibuypower.com , i used the custom cinfigurator to make it.

Problem: Monitors don't work gives me no signal message

The problem i hook up every wire since the monitor only came with a vga cable i plug that in to the computer all nice and tight.

On the back of my computer i also have a hdmi slot and dvi slots but i have no cables for it. I was wondering is this the problem i keep getting no signal???















The computer specs:

Motherboard (ASUS P8Z77-V LX))

Processor (Intel® Core™ i7-3770 Processor (4x 3.40GHz/8MB L3 Cache)

Video Card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti - 2GB - Single Card))

Power Supply (850 Watt - AZZA Dynamo 850W))

a lot of builders leave the mb set to factory defaults. when they do that the onboard vga port is the main video port not the gpu port. plug your monitor into the onboard video port and it should work. when it does go into the bios and set primany video from ipgpu to peg as the first video output. this will make the gpu the main video card.

no the onboard vga port. most mb with onboard video now a days will set that port as the main video port.
