In the processing of fixing my GPU broken fan i created a custom plastic mount (unknown material) for chassis to fit in GPU, Good idea?

Hi all

I have a RTX 4090 GPU and my GPU fan blade broken a month back (cannot claim in warranty).
though i fixed the fan blade with a gum, due to the change in blade position(cannot match position 100%) and uneven air flow it vibrates a lot. so i decided to replace the fan with another chassis fan.
I have to create a new plastic mount to attach the fan to the GPU.
I don't know the material of the GPU so i tested in the following way.

The plastic mount i created, i checked in boiled water with will be converted to steam at temperature 100 C and it didn't melt, so usually the GPU also reaches the same temperature under load. is it safe to assume that the plastic material i used don't melt inside GPU under load?

Is it good to continue using GPU?

Plastic used in mount (Its pad used used to support paper)

1) Placing Thermal pad between the mount and the radiator joint good idea?

2) will it work without melting at 100C?
