Hello,
I'm playing BGII/ToB with Tactics, Ease of Use, Tashia, Chloe, and a few
other mods[1]. From Ease of Use, I have the following romance/NPC-related
components (plus most of the rest) :
Happy: NPCs won't fight with each other or leave the group.
Romance: PC can romance one NPC (regardless of race/gender).
Romance: Bug Fixes (required for later components).
(but not this one : Romance: PC can romance multiple NPCs concurrently,
but must say the right things. )
The problem is :
In the Spellhold Maze, a Lich Imprisoned Chloe. (A bit annoying that
Improved Liches can do that, since there's no reasonable way for a party
to have Freedom at that point [a high-level sorceror wasting a level 9
spell spot on Freedom is definitely *not* a "reasonable way", but it's
the only possible way I can think of. ] )
Anyway, I cast Freedom from a scroll that the party "found" on the
floor, but it seems that the romance with Chloe has been halted in its
tracks. We're well out of Spellhold now, have rested a few times indoors
and outdoors, but there have been no romantic conversations.
Also, for some reason Tashia has stopped the romantic talk too. She
hasn't been Imprisoned or kicked out of the party, and at first I
thought nothing of it, because I believe she goes quiet in the Underdark,
but again, we've been out for a while and a number of sleeps, and still no
romantic talk.
So : How do I confirm this ? How do I fix it ? I'm happy to play with
either ShadowKeeper or CluaConsole commands (SK might be easier ?)
For now, I want to restart both romances - if there's a choice of some sort
to make between them, I'll come to that later.
[1] To be complete : Chloe, Ease of Use (most components), Item
Upgrade, Solaufein, Spell effects to level 50, Tactics, Tashia,
Unfinished Business, Underrepresented Items, Valen, Baldurdash.
(and the official latest ToB patch, of course)
Thanks !
David.
