One day when I loaded into CS:GO, it was immediately apparent that something was wrong. On the main menu screen, it was capped at 15 fps, which I can tell because I have the steam fps overlay on. Once I load into a game, bot or matchmaking, it seems to run fine, but once I see an enemy or fire my weapon, the fps drops to an unplayable 5-15 FPS. This obviously made playing comp impossible, so I scoured every corner of the internet for a fix.
None of them seemed to work, until I stumbled upon this forum post on like the 10th page of Google that suggested I update my audio drivers. I did this, and it fixed the problem.
I also spend a lot of time producing music, so after playing a comp match I opened up FL Studio to work on a beat for a while. Then, I open CS:GO back up and I'm experiencing the problem again. Then, I update my audio drivers, and voila! CSGO works fine. I repeated the process multiple times to test if it was really stemming from FL Studio, and I've concluded it definitely is the source. This is super annoying because updating my audio drivers can take anywhere from 20-30 minutes, and I use FL Studio really often.
I know that there's a slim chance that anyone who browses these forums has experienced such a specific issue, but it would be extremely appreciated if someone could help me out on this.
