My 3 year old bro, in all his wisdom, took a magnet to my 15" Sony Multiscan 100SX (actually this monitor is now my 6 year old brother's). Anyways, the monitor doesn't have a degauss button, so everyone's freaking out and my mom's yelling hehe. Luckily the good 'ol trick with a drill worked. I used an electric power drill (gotta be one you plug into a socket, not one w/ a battery b/c it's weak) and ran it across the monitor and the spots started fading. Then one more "blast" while it was turning on and it was done. Just a little tip for those of u who don't have a monitor w/ degauss option/ ever get stuck in a such a situation.

Stay tuned for my adventures with the compunurse lcd coming soon.
