I took apart a 4GB drive with no problems. I'm using the memory in a college themed casing.

I have a pny 128GB usb 3.0 flash drive that'd look great in a new 3D printed casing, but the hard part is cracking it open without damaging the original casing in case I want to put it back. Any suggestions?

It's not gonna come apart without cutting up the plastic. In the mean time, I'll find my 32GB drive and take that apart for my little side project.

I found a smaller tool and shoved it into the crack. I got the case open. I like how small the storage is, but it won't fit in the same space as the little usb 2.0 drives. I'll 3d print a cool casing that'll fit it more tightly.
