Hello,

I have an USB flash drive next to me. The file system is unknown - meaning I can't format the USB flash disk with Windows. Also it says that there's 0 bytes free and occupied space.
I tried to format it with the Linux distribution Parted Magic, but it doesn't seem to recognize my USB flash drive.

I don't care about the data that was lost. I would just like to format the USB flash drive in FAT32 or make it a bootable Ubuntu flash drive.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, I can't do anything. It isn't shown there and I can't create a partition of it.
I don't care much if I would have to trash it.

It's the flash drive of my friend and he never had important data on it.
He also said that he used the cmd command "clear" on it -> he wanted to test if he can repair it afterwards, he wasn't able to, so I am trying to do this. But Linux (Parted Magic) didn't work, but it used to work on a SSD drive without file system.
