Hello,

I have a 16 GB SSD netbook and a 32 GB USB. Someone told me that having a flash drive that's more than a computer's memory is going to destroy the flash drive and he's supposed to be a "computer guy." Any truth to this?

If that was the case, all of my home computers would be toast, as would all people who have one larger-than-all-others-we-have-in-our-computers External HDD for backups. The reverse would also be true as well.

This is simply false. The size of the drives will not have any impact on their overall health. Beat the "computer guy" with his own mouse for that statement.
