For the past 4 months i have been experiencing performance issues ever since i tried to overclock and it didn't go so well changed everything to default values and optimized defaults haven't touched it since and ever since this issue has been consisting just never had time to deal with it. On another thread i posted seeking help one suggested for me to flash the BIOS which for me is a little skeptical as i have no knowledge to do so without a step by step guide lol. Anyways all help appreciated thank you very much!

Gigabyte Z170N WIFI mini itx
Intel i5 6600k
16gb Kingston ddr4 2400mhz
Evga 780ti
Evga 600w psu

Thanks for the reply really appreciate the help!

Your board has no heatsinks on the VRM's. No surprise it can't overclock well. Overclocking isn't needed, skylake already has high IPC to begin with.
