Flash Player Problems?

I have been trying to run a cam program that works fine on my Windows XP computer with no problem but when I run it on my Vista I get a message that says "Macromedia Flash Player 8.0 r22 has stopped working" The details are.....

I have tried may times of unistalling and reinstall Flash and I do have the lasted flash player installed. Any ideas as to what I can do? This is driving me crazy !

Uninstall flash player with this tool, then reinstall it from the Adobe web site.

Well, check with the manufacturer of your cam program to see if it is VISTA compatible. You didn't mention if you are using VISTA 64 or 32.

I have been in contact with them and they don't seem to know what the problem is. There are many people who use it with Vista. How do I check to see if I am using 64 or 32 ?

Right click on My Computer, click on properties, version listed under system. If you didn't build your PC yourself, it's 32.

There is some oem systems shipping that are 64 bit now.
