Flash(swf) standalone player?

is there any standalone player that can play .swf files? i uninstalled adobe flash player because of security flaw reported long time ago. is it still relevant? or is it safe now? if not, is there any stand alone player for swf?

it support flv but not swf files

nah it doesnt. i open VLC and select file>open and navigate to the folder with the swf, but it just show a empty folder

maybe it need to have adobe flash player installed before it play like K-lite. if i have adobe flash player installed i can open swf with klite mediaplayer but when i unintall adobe flash player, it become unplayable.
