I have a ep45-ds3r mobo and I am using 2x2gb vitesta 800 ddr2 sticks 4-4-4-12-2t and I bought another 2x1 GB ram of same model and want to install them to run win7 64 better but it failed so I went to gygabite site to look up for updates and saw there are some bios updates (i have v 6) that can solve some memory issues. The big problem is The following: these bios updates are for 32 win version. So my question is: can I flash 32 bit bios driver from a usb in the starting screen so I can avoid The 64 bit error? If possible also help me out with some tips if u got time. Thanks in advance!

Is this where you are getting the bios from?

Check your bios version and install the latest one. It does not ask what bit 32 or 64 the OS is here.

Bios version F10 should be the one for you. How are you trying to install it? The best way would be to use a USB thumb drive. Download the Bios, uppack it and you should have three files. Copy the three files onto a USB thumb drive, install the USB then boot into Bios and select Q-Flash and follow the instructions. The USB will be listed and a drive.

EDIT:
One more thing, copy the three bios files to the USB thumb drive with nothing else on the drive. The drive needs to be formatted in FAT32. This is how they normally...
Well that is my issue. I download the latest or even older version of bios but whenever I try to run it an error occurs telling me driver of bios is not supported on 64 win
The bios was released in early 2008 so updating is tricky and can be done through an.exe which can be downloaded and I tried them all but it wont run saying it is not supported on my 64 os.

Try the floppy A and see what is in the floppy? If the 3 files are there, good. Try one and don't worry if it is the wrong one, it will let you know. Try another till you get the right file of the three.

If the USB is not seen, there might be a problem with it's formatting or something?

Ok I will try to format it this time using the long process not just Quick format and afterwards will try to use 2 usb sticks and maybe I will get Lucky. That floppy a thing does not do anything at all showing 0 values. Btw saw that the second usb let's me to format as fat aswell not just fat32. Shall i try the original stick with fat32 and the second with fat ( on second usb fat simple shows as default when formatting) . After reset is done I will post the results.
