Flashing 9800 to 9800pro?

I bought this video card off of ebay.

It is a Radeon 9800 not pro not SE. The memory type is indeed samsung memory 3.3. Pro's use 2.8.

According to this site I can flash this card to a Pro and have no problems. http://www.digitalsynapses.com/articles/9800npflash/

My question is... Will I have problems if I do this?

I guess you could, but why would you bother?

The nonPro is identical to Pro except for the reduced clock speeds.

Just overclock it to whatever is stable and leave it there.
