[SOLVED] Flashing another brand Bios for 0dB fan?

Hi, I've just bought a Palit 1650 Super Storm X which has a single 92mm fan and successfully NVFlashed it to the OC model bios but I was wondering if I can flash with a different brand model to gain 0dB fan feature which this Palit card doesn't have.

It also seems all of the other AIB single fan 1650 Supers such as MSI, Gigabyte and Asus, PNY don't seem to list switch off fan features either.

Can I flash with twin fan models such as the MSI Super Gaming X to gain this feature or would this not work due to a different fan set-up?

I think in general it's it would be risky to try and flash a BIOS from a different manufacturer.

You can brick your card by flashing incompatible BIOS.

Is it not a case of if it doesn't boot, reboot using onboard and then reflash with original bios?

I would honestly not f around with it, especially in the current situation we live in.

OK thanks guys. I guess I'll just settle for the current setup. It's not too bad with the latest bios tbf, I just thought that 0dB would be handy as it's a SFF media type build.
