Flashing Bar on Left Side of Some Games

a random flashing bar has appeared on some of my games. I haven't changed anything since i last played the any games.

6600k, 16gb ram, 250gb ssd, 1tb HDD, it was never there before when i had xfire on or off

any solution? happened to me just now... i was using it earlier with no problems. made some minor changes in the settings in riva tuner statistics and now the rgb bar at the left side keeps flashing around after 15 seconds in game (FO4), using an MSI R9 270x

What settings did you change?
Did you also do anything in Afterburner?

nothing out of the usual. what i did with riva and afterburner is the detection for the gpu temp, gpu load and gpu fan % to be displayed on my screen since i have just reformatted this computer due to new hardware. only thing old is the HDD. i reverted everything i can remember and restarted but still its showing

it was the rivatuner overlay, i just uninstalled it and use CAM now

i had the same problem, after some researching i found a fix.
In the RTSS settings, go to General/FCAT properties and disable frame color indicator. The indicator changes color every time a frame it is monitoring changes color.
