I have an asus p8h61-i lx r2.0/rm/si motherboard with an i5 2500 and 8gb ram. It will not let me boot into windows because the bios is out of date. I formatted my usb stick to fat 32 and downloaded the most recent bios update for windows 10 64 bit. Then i extracted the folder and cut and paste the bios update onto the memory stick (i did this on my laptop). I enter asus ez flash 2 utility in the bios and select the bios file and it says "security verification failed" please help as i badly need to finish coursework for sixth form.
I did exactly what the guy did in this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YNvaOoFgZjU
And i got the bios from here:https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8H61I_LX_R20/HelpDesk_Download/
I clicked on windows 10 64 bit
Then on bios
And then downloaded the most recent version 1106 bios.

RM has been providing desktop PCs to the education sector for years.

The Asus P8H61-I RM/SI is similar to the ASUS P8H61-I R2.0 but it is not a Retail Boxed Motherboard. I see surplus models from schools being sold on eBay. To make a long story short, I don't think you have a ASUS P8H61-I R2.0.
