Flashing blue light on top of refrigerator

The model of my refrigerator is LG GR P227HSXV and today I noticed a weird blue flashing on top of it, here it is on video

I've searched the whole net, and also read the fridge's manual and couldn't find anything about it. I have this fridge for 6 years now, and I am seeing this for the first time.

They only thing worth mentioning is that the night before there was a T-Storm in my city with 4 hours straight of lightnings, perhaps something happened with the power? The T-storm didn't damage any of the electronics in my home, and the fridge is working fine, nothing unusual about it except for the light.

Could anyone provide some explanation?

try powering off the frig from the wall for a few min see if the pcb and compressor resets.

This fixed the issue with the flashing, everything is working fine, and hopefully nothing got damaged. I did notice now that the power cable went from the power outlet directly to the top of the fridge, so it had to be something with the power and the T-Storm. I also remembered now that the night before, the power went out 2-3 times in my home.
