I have an external SSD currently mounted on the back of my MacBook's screen which holds my Virtual Machines. At the moment it's stuck with 3M tape, so cannot be easily removed. I'm looking for some sort of coupling device which will allow me to clip/unclip the drive as needed. The problem is I don't know the name of this device and haven't made much headway on Google as my key words are off.

YouTube vids suggest non-slips mats or velcro, neither of which I want. What I think I'm looking for is a pair of plastic pieces, both flat on one side, with a connector/housing on the other sides that allow them to be slid in and out of place. To give you an idea of what I mean, half of this device could potentially be requisitioned from the grab bag used with GoPro cams (the piece on the far left of the first image below, which would be stuck to the back of my screen). The other half would essentially be the middle piece of the image, but would simply be flat with no protrusions (which would then be permanently mounted on my SSD with 3M tape).

While writing this post I did a final search, which led me to Striplox (second image), which are close to what I'm after. But a) I'm not sure they're designed to be unclipped very easily and b) the cheapest I could find in the UK are around £30 each.

Can anyone point me towards what I'm looking for at a reasonable price?

Cheers. I reckon I'll probably go for a universal phone mount, similar to tethertools one but around £1 elsewhere. Was hoping for something with a lower profile but oh well...
