Have you run Windows 7 update yet? It will find the 'best available' hardware drivers as well as get the OS updates

Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly

Myflatbed scanner is acer. I am not able to see any freeware update for the drive in the internet. Pl provide me the link. Rgds
