FlatPanels: Gaming and KVM's

My question is two-fold.

Firstly, what is the best LCD FlatPanel for gaming? Due to my eyes, limited space and wanting something that doesn't generate alot of heat - I need an LCD Flat Panel monitor to replace my aging 17" CRT with crap refresh rate.

Secondly, will a Flat Panel work well with a KVM switch? More specifically, this one:

Reason I ask is I've got another computer in my room and can't afford to buy two monitors and switching between the two.

Thank you in advance to any and all helpful suggestions! :)

You could get a lcd monitor which has 2 inputs, so just pressing a button on the screen switches between the 2 comps,

I got a sony SDM-X72 which works well with games, but still probably better waiting till the faster lcd come out

I have a 8-port Belkin KVM hooked up to a Samsung 213T and it works fine. No loss of quality between direct analog and KVM analog. but the monitor does look noticeably better when I use a digital DVI interface instead.
