I have the nec fe950+ it's a pretty decent monitor but was wondering if the slight bowing or droop at the top middle of the screen is normal for flatcreen monitors? Ive used all the adjustments to get the picture as good as possible but can't get rid of the 3mm droop.

If the droop is 3mm, I would consider this out of specification. This is not inherent to all flat screen monitors.

Does anyone else notice any droop or bowing at all on their flatscreen monitor? A slight dip noticable on the top middle.

It goes up and in by a very, very small amount on my Samsung 955DF.
