Flawless build? Anyone see flaws in my build? And where can I improve? + questions.

Ok, so I need this to record games at HIGH frame rates while running ultra settings. Rendering isn't an issue, but the budget is. I have a $1500 budget. The questions will be at the bottom of the build.

1) Yes it will. its like one of AMD top of the line CPU's and a 780!! Stupid question lol

2) A long time as long as a game doesn't require Direct X 11.3 or later which doesn't even exist yet.

3) For an AMD this is pretty close to as good as you'll get. Beisdes running SLI, or getting a SSD its pretty good. Me I'm not a fan of Windows 8 but if you want DX 11.2 you need it.

I'm sure other people will have opinions as well.

Also are those prices US or CAN? because where I love in Souther California the 8350 is like 150 lol

Aftermarket cooling on that 8350 and you should be good. Might consider 16 gigs of ram instead of 8 for what you're gonna be doing though. Just get like a 2x8 of 1600mhz. Some may not agree with that but to each his own. But definitely the cooling so you can overclock that FX.

If you ask if i see flaws, yes i do.

First off, you should rather go with a LGA supporting motherboard and a intel 4 core cpu, as no games ever use 8 cores. Its more for hardcore multitasking. The Z87 G-45 and I5 4670K is a great combo.

1800 mHZ RAM serves no purpose. You have maybe 1% MAX increasement from 1600 mhz, so save your money and guy vengeance or hyperx rams.

I would also add a ssd disc if you can afford it. 128 GB is enough. Samsung is a great producer. I cant say this enough times, SSDs are crucial for a fast startup and generally everything on the disc.

The video card is very good. I have it myself, but i have the gainward, which i regret. Go for it.

Also i would prefer windows 7, but thats up to you, hehe 😛

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

1: It will run BF4 smooth as fuck if you buy the processor i listed with that gpu.
2. it will last atleast 3 years, maybe five before you need to upgrade.
3. I would say go for it.

Looks perfect now if you ask me
I have almost similar setup and i run bioshock infinite (only game i have tried yet) at 100+ (sometimes even 250) with everything set to ultra.
Make sure to overlock that processor too. I have a i5 2500k (old but good) and its running at 4,5 ghz stable (3,3 ghz stock)
Imo intel processors are the best for overclocking, they run stable at 30-40% higher clock than stock.

Only think i can point out, is the ram. Really no point in having over 1600mhz.

Considering the specs of the PC I built I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I criticized your build. The only things I would consider would be adding an aftermarket CPU cooler and an SSD for the OS, both of which were mentioned earlier. It might up your price a bit but in the long run would be worth it. Oh, and put a toaster in. You never know when you are on your PC and you want some toast.
