Flexible ram cable/extender?

Solution

I highly doubt it. In fact I don't even know if you can get a server with them anymore. They were more for when RAM DIMM's were quite small so you needed a lot if you wanted extra RAM in your server. They weren't simple either they had their own power connections, required motherboard/BIOS support and the risers themselves had some sort on controller on them that could (read did) go bad.
Something like this? I'm not too sure if they work. Never heard of one.

Heh haven't seen those in a while. Those are RAM risers from old (core 2 I think) servers I think they were in mostly Dell's Haven't seen them lately though. They only work with specific motherboards. We had one until last year at work pulling storage server duty.
